Cropped Challenge

Welcome to the Cropped Challenge! Check out Crafty Card Gallery for all the details and to vote for my card, I mean whichever card you think is the best :)  We were given the below items and had to make a card.
The rules were: You 1) can use any other items you like (card stock, bling, stickers, markers, stamps, etc) on the card. You clearly will need a card base 2) You must use all of the items I sent you, and they have to be identifiable (but you don't have to use all of it in the card). 3) This challenge only - you can change the color of any item I've sent you. They don't have to stay white. 4) Card can be any size, and any fold you like. 5) Card can be any theme you like....Here's the contents of the envelope:
Here is my card.
I used the toilet paper roll on the corner, the triangle, I embossed it and used distress to make it pop.I then sprayed it with Copper Shimmer. The white lacey type paper I also sprayed with copper Shimmer. I made my first paper flower like this one and probably my last. After Jennifer sent me a link on how to do it I made it and added the glitter to the middle of the flower. I sprayed the flower with the same copper Shimmer. The card needed something extra so I used my new stamp set by Inspired Stamps and stamped the fly and butterfly. I cut out the butterfly and used Stickles on it.
Voting will take place until April 3rd..on Crafty Card Gallery

Inspired Stamps Sneak Peak

Sneak Peak time! I am in love with this set by Inspired Stamps. I was hoping to make some more cards with it before sneak peak but this week has been exhausting. Almost spring break and then I will have some more time to play with it!

So after I put the background paper onto the card base I decided to try stamping directly on the designer paper. I LOVED the look so I stamped several more of the stamps from this set onto the paper. The flowers, heart, butterfly and the spread your wings are all from this wonderful set. I stamped another butterfly on the tan card stock and colored it with Copics. I punched it out with a circle punch and used distress ink around the edge of the circle. Last I added Stickles to the stamps to make this pop! Tomorrow on Inspired Stamps you will be able to see all the new releases.

Bunnies & Blossoms Banner Hop

Welcome to the Bunnies and Blossoms Banner Hop for Special Needs Children.
Yesterday and today (March 24-25), 30+fantastic papercrafters have come together to create Spring-themed banners. They will then donate these banners to Ellen (CardMonkey), who works as Admissions Coordinator at Pediatric Specialty Care (PSC), www.pediatricspecialty.com

PSC is a long-term care facility for special needs children who are medically-fragile and/or technologically-dependent. The babies, children and youths at PSC range in age from birth to 21, and are admitted from all over the country.
Some are infants, born prematurely and before their lungs have had a chance to mature. Others have serious birth defects, illnesses or injuries from accidents that cause them to need tender loving care in a home-like environment -- many for their lifetimes.

Our banners are meant to cheer the young patients, their families, and the staff at PSC. Here is the banner that I madeand will be sending to Ellen to decorate a child's room:
(Show your banner -- describe how you made it...)

We DO have a tasty bit of blog candy to thank you for visiting us today! What's the prize??!
How about a beautiful handmade (courtesy of our Blog Hop Hostess, CardMonkey!) Cricut Cozy Covers?! Each one is individually styled in your pick of colors and embroidered words! These are RARE because CardMonkey does not make them for sale and she usually sticks to paper, not sewing!!
To qualify, there are two steps: 1. Comment on as many Bunny & Blossoms Blog Hop blogs as you wish -- the more blogs on which you comment, the more chances you have to win. There will only be one winner, picked at random by Random.Org.
 2. Follow and comment on the CardMonkey blog ... Leave a comment on our Hop Hostess's site (http://cardmonkey-business.blogspot.com) and let her know if your name is picked, what 2 accent colors you'd like on your Cricut Cozy Cover, and what text you'd like embroidered (up to 3 lines). You MUST be a follower of the CardMonkey blog to win and you MUST leave a way for her to contact you if your name is picked.

Cute paper from Recollections, twine and button to dress up the card and the sentiment is from Pink By Design.
Here are closer pictures of the top and bottom.

Gift Bag w/ Bugaboo Pig

Have you ever made something that you had a hard time giving it away. I loved how this bag came out. It was perfect. I was inspired by a sketch but half way through realized I didn't follow it properly so oh well. I did however add button for the other challenge I wanted to enter (list at the bottom).
Here are closer up pictures of the top and bottom. I faux stitched around the edges. The pig is from Bugaboo and is their current freebie. I colored it with Copics and chalked the edges with pink chalk. The rest is simple enough to follow I think but if you have any questions please comment below.
I am entering this into thischallenge.

Scripture Card

Scroll down for Jennifer's Birthday Blog Hop.
I made this card for my DT Inspired Stamp post. I wanted to focus on the scripture so I took some cute paper and made the four square background. I added a Lacy heart and a couple heart brads. I used my Spellbinder to cute out the stamp and a border. Clean and simple, I am trying to make a few cards that are less busy. If you have not checked out Inspired Stamps wonderful stamps you should head on over there.

Jennifer's Birthday Blog Hop!

Welcome to Jennifer's 39th birthday blog hop! If you came here from Ellen then you are in the right place. If not head back over to Jennifer's blog and wish her happy birthday.
I made this card using a Pattie's Creations image and colored this with Copics. I added a bordered punch strip of paper wrapped in twine then stamped the sweet birthday wishes. Simple card but I like how it came out. Jennifer is giving away a set of stamps. Shhh, a surprise!  You'll get one entry for hopping along, and a 2nd entry if you make a birthday card and post the link to it on Crafty Card Gallery.

Wine Tag

I am so excited to be going wine tasting, well today actually, that I made this wine tag to hang off a bottle of wine. I love this image from Pattie's Creations. It is pretty for anything to do with wine. Of course I had to stick with green and purple paper. I added some ribbon, twine and buttons to dress it up. I inked the top with purple to get rid of the boring white top. The enjoy stamp by Inspired Stamps finished it off nicely.
So while you are all reading this I am in Sonoma County for their annual barrel tasting event. This is around my tenth time going. Hope you have as fantastic weekend as I am going to be having.

Inspired Stamps Button Cross Card

I have the hardest time photographing embossed paper (and I have a photo degree). So I embossed the pink paper and sprayed it with glimmer mist. I made a cross out of buttons. I stamped directly on the patterned paper.  I used one of the scriptures from the Strength set.

Sports Cards

I have been asked to make Raiders birthday cards several times. I found Raiders paper at Joann's and made several cards using it. I personally am not a football fan but hey gotta give the people what they want.
I made this one with a fancy fold.

This silver card stock has come in handy for these Raiders cards.
This last card I made with Chicago Bears colors. I embossed the background one with Happy Birthday and the front panel with circles. Thanks for stopping by!

CWWC Animals Challenge

Crafting When We Can is having an animals challenge. I used a Stamping Boutique image, such cute Owls. I colored them with Copics and chalked the edge. I used a punch to make the pick little strip. I took a plain ribbon and stamped it with Inspired Stamps sentiment. I used my Irock to add some bling. Pretty simply done but I like the outcome. Head over to Crating When We Can and link up a project with an animal for a chance to win some cute stamps!

Inspired Stamps Journal Stamps Card

Such a simple looking card that I do so many things on. Lets start with the background paper. I started with white paper and stamped the background with the stamp set pictured below. I randomly stamped the shapes in pink and blue. Then I stamped some of the words all over. I then sprayed frost glitter all over the white paper.          http://www.inspiredstamps.com/servlet/the-106/Journal-Shapes/Detail

These brads where an ugly yellow color that I transformed into the beautiful glitter brads. I got the idea from this site on pinterest.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out all the other great projects on Inspired Stamps.
